Program Overview

• The Bunny Program is geared toward children ages 4 to 5 years old.

• The program is aimed at introducing children to cross country skiing and a healthy, active lifestyle through organized activity and active play. 

• Lessons will introduce ‘fundamental movement skills’ through participation in games and activities and having FUN!

• You will receive a Swix brand toque and Bunny booklet to add skill sticker awards.

• A parent/guardian must accompany children during class.

When? How Much?

Cost: $40 (does not include Family Membership)

30 min class weekly at 1:30pm on Saturdays for 10 weeks. (Minimum of 6 lessons)

 

Session runs January 13 to March 15 starting  January 13, 2024.

There are some Saturdays that are not lessons days but family ski activities.

Where do I get equipment? 

Two Options:

1. Will pick up skis & boots before class and return equipment to the Equipment Room after each lesson. $0.00

2. Classic ski rental (skis & boots) for 2 sessions. $75.00 - You will be able to keep the equipment for the entire season. **This is only available for those registered in both sessions**

Parent involvement

All coaches are volunteers!! Parents are expected to help with clothes and equipment, joining in classes and games, and arranging refreshments. Parents are also encouraged to become certified instructors by taking the training courses arranged by the ski club.
