Youth Medical Form.
The bunnyrabbit program is geared toward children under six years old. The program is aimed at introducing children to cross country skiing and a healthy, active lifestyle through organized activity and active play. The program also helps children develop a positive self image, make new friends, have fun, and develop fundamental movement skills.
An adult is required to ski or walk with the children in this group.
When? Where? How Much?
Lessons are held at the Doug Barnes Cabin on Saturdays at 2pm. The program starts in January to March.
For insurance reasons, students must become a member of the Ptarmigan Nordic Ski Club. Youth membership fees are $25 for the year (or $50 for the entire family). Bunnyrabbit program fees are an additional $25 per child. This cost covers CCA youth program registration fees, lessons, yearly toque and any additional youth activities organized through the club.

Where do I get skis?
The PNSC has skis available for bunnyrabbits to use during the season. There is a $100 deposit (postdated cheque) for the skis, which is returned at the end of the season when the skis are returned. This includes skis and boots.
Parents are expected to help with clothes and equipment, joining in classes and games, and arranging refreshments. Parents are also encouraged to become certified instructors by taking the training courses arranged by the ski club.
