There are many ways to get involved and support PNSC. Fundraising efforts and donations support our operations, athletes and trail grooming and we are always looking for coaches and volunteers to help out during the season!

volunteer
PNSC is powered entirely by volunteers! Volunteer opportunities include special event support, groomers, coaches and board positions.
Our current volunteer opportunities can be viewed here.
fundraising
We are exploring various fundraising and sponsorship possibilities, including hosting another Alberta Cup in the future - please contact us for more information or if you would like to support us.
donate
Donations received help with grooming of the Birchwood Trails and support our athletes training and competitions. Donate HERE
Employees with participating workplaces can support through Benevity – either through wage donations or volunteer hours.
COACHING

One of PNSC's strategic goals are to facilitate coach development.
Children & Youth Coaches:
First coaching levels needed to support our programming includes:

ICC - Introduction to Community Coaching - Bunny Rabbit Coach and assistant coach for Jackrabbits. To become a Bunny Coach (ICC) enthusiasm (and a little bit of skiing experience) is all that you need.

CC - Community Coach - Jackrabbit Coach and assistant Track Attack Coach

L2T - Learn to Train - Track Attack Coach
The above training and development is offered through Nordiq Canada.
Adult Programming Coaches:
PNSC uses CANSI (National Association for Training and Certification) for our adult lessons. Participating in a CANSI course also help skiers to improve their own skiing.
